BlackMax
Meet BlackMax, our latest quadruped robotic prototype—built for agility, balance, and a bold visual identity. Fully 3D-printed and jet black in color, BlackMax combines power, precision, and personality in one compact frame. Engineered for impressive speed, BlackMax moves swiftly and efficiently across various terrains without compromising stability.

Unique Mechanical Design
BlackMax features a four-bar leg linkage system that keeps each leg moving steadily and parallel to the ground. This ensures a smooth and stable walking experience across flat surfaces.
Flexible Joint Architecture
The robot’s combination of passive and actuated joints reduces drag and improves overall speed, enhancing both efficiency and adaptability.
Gait Optimization with AI Simulation
BlackMax’s walking behavior is fine-tuned using algorithmic planning and reinforcement learning techniques. Simulations via PyBullet help optimize its gait for balance and speed.
Smart Envelope Drop Box Application
Originally designed as a functional prototype, BlackMax can be adapted into a real-world application—such as a motion-activated envelope drop box. Instead of dumping waste, it now accepts letters or small items, bringing utility and interactivity to public or office spaces.
